Happy July, and wedding month to Kenny and I! I am so excited to be sharing our early moon experience in Cabo at Pueblo Bonito Golf and spa resort. We stayed at the beautiful Towers at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica.
Upon arrival, we were picked up by a private car service via the resort which was extremely convenient. Once we got to the resort, we were immediately greeted by our butler with welcome cocktails. The butler service is 24 hours, and highly recommended. To have all of your reservations, and accommodations taken care of for you makes the experience that much more relaxing. Once we got settled in, we headed to the suite and wow..it was beautiful. The bed was so comfortable with cozy Egyptian cotton bedding, and the best pillows I have ever slept on. The bathroom has luxury amenities like the rainfall shower, and had two plush robes waiting for us. I am a sucker for good soaps, and lotions and we had a variety including their customized soaps. The suits are Sleek, luxury and comfortable.
The first day we took a tour of the property, which is stunning. The grounds are out of a magazine filled with cactuses and beautiful flowers and palm trees. Everywhere you turn serene views surround you. After our tour, we enjoyed fish tacos by the pool before our private 6-course meal with wine pairing.
To celebrate our first night together, Kenny and I went into the VIP lounge that overlooks the ocean and had a private dinner together. To start off the evening, we had specialty cocktails made for us with fresh ingredients from their garden. Everything was explained in detail, and the presentation was spectacular. The six-course meal was phenomenal and romantic. I highly recommend this experience for any early mooners, anniversaries and honeymooners!
The second day we had a cabana already reserved for us, so all we had to do was walk down and enjoy the views. The cabanas are so plush and cozy and allow for privacy. We had a swinging one, so relaxing! Lunch was served in our cabana along with some fruity cocktails. Cabana life is the best like at Pueblo Bonito. We stayed in our cabana the majority of the day taking in the beautiful views of the beach and ocean but eventually went poolside. They have two pools, one with a swim up bar and another that is a little quieter if you want to relax and read a book or nap : )
After our amazing day by the water, we got dressed up and headed over to Quivira golf club. Kenny and I both love golf, but even if you aren’t a golf pro, you won’t want to pass up the beautiful views on the golf course. The fifth hole overlooks everything including the resort. It was breathtaking! We went right around sunset and enjoyed every minute of the tour during golden hour. The Quivira steakhouse is a must! It’s just a quick ride over from the resort and has some of the best steak I’ve ever had. Overlooking the water and golf course, it’s another romantic, classy restaurant with great food.
Our third day started with breakfast and coffee in the VIP lounge which is only opened to guests staying in the towers. Again, I highly recommend the towers to get these accommodations! The lounge has everything from fresh fruit, to donuts and even a bar to make your own Bloody Mary, yum! After our breakfast, we were treated to a one hour and 30-minute couples massage at the fantastic spa. Talk about a relaxation!! The spa is equipped with a steam room, jacuzzi, cold bath, and showers. Once we arrived, we headed into the lounge to wait for our service. We were led into the most dreamy room with our own personal jacuzzi with roses all over. Before starting our massage, we got a foot scrub and massage in a tub filled with more roses. We also were able to pick out our own essential oils for the massage. Each oil was heavenly! The massage was hands down the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of massages! A couples massage makes it to the top of my list of things to do because of how relaxing, and romantic it is. The services are outstanding!
Once we were nice and relaxed, we had a lovely lunch back at the VIP lounge before heading back down to our cabana. We wanted to walk around the resort a little more, so we only stayed on the beach for a couple of hours before exploring. For our last night, we had dinner at the resorts best, peninsula. The restaurant is gorgeous and has beautiful views of the ocean. The food was fantastic, no surprise here, and I had the lobster which was mouth watering. It was the perfect way to end our early moon in such a beautiful candlelight setting.
This experience was unforgettable, and the perfect way to celebrate before Kenny and I say “I do.” Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is luxury, modern, sleek, fun and romantic. The staff is lovely, and our butler Ricardo was so kind and helpful. The team welcomes you warmly and treats you like family. We even walked into our suite with a bed of roses; chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. They go above and beyond! Next time you are thinking about a trip to Cabo you can check out Pueblo Bonito Pacifica here! Trust me; You won’t regret it : )
