Finding your wedding photographer is one of the most important parts of wedding planning; after all these photos capture one of the best days of your lives. I am sharing some of my tips on how to find the right photographer for you, and I am beyond excited to share a little preview of our big day with you guys.
Tip 1. Figure out what kind of aesthetic you want. Are you looking for a more moody vibe or a classic, clean, crisp look? Most photographers have one style that they typically stick with so if you are looking for more filtered photos or darker hues, make sure to choose someone who showcases that work. Do your research!
Tip 2. Look at reviews! Thanks to WeddingWire you can look up different vendors to see their work, as well as reviews. Read what others are saying about their experience and figure out if it’s a good fit for your big day. I rely heavily on reviews not just from friends and family but also on WeddingWire because these reviews reflect an experience of hundreds of people.
Tip 3. Have your engagement photos done by the photographer’s that you are interested in having photograph your wedding day. By doing this, you will have a great idea of how you work together, what their style is and how your photos will look.
Kenny and I were lucky to have The Jacksons Photography be a part of our special day. Their aesthetic is absolutely stunning. Every one of their photos is so elegant, timeless and tell a beautiful story. Amanda and Jeremy are probably one of the sweetest couples to work with too! Their attention to detail is phenomenal, and they captured moments I wouldn’t have even thought to get. Kenny and I can’t stop looking at our preview photos, and can’t wait to share the rest soon!
