We had a two story Villa at the Haciendathat was more than we could have asked for. The Hacienda was by far my favorite resort I’ve traveled to. I highly recommend staying here if traveling to Cabo San Lucas. We had absolutely stunning views from our patios. Coffee in the morning with the sun shining down was the best way to start the day. There was a beautiful church on the resort..hello destination wedding! There was so many hidden gems on the resort property, it would take you an entire day just to see it all! From lush gardens, to 6 different pools and a winding staircase that took you to the top of the resort where the 360 views literally took my breath away. Events, and private dinners held every night on the resort! We always had something to do, but had the option to relax in our villa and order in room service which we took advantage of : )
If you can, take a day to do an excursion and see all the beauty Cabo has to offer. We were able to see a glass blowing factory (I of course purchased the biggest wine glass there was), take a tequila tour (and some shots : ) ), do some shopping in dowtown and lastly the best part, a private boat ride to see the famous Arch, snorkle and eat great authentic Mexican food with lots of tequila included! I never thought in a million years I’d jump off a cliff into the sea of Cortez, but I did it and I loved it so much I did it twice! When I came up on the cliff, there were tons of little crabs and they scurried off once I got near..and surprisingly didn’t bite! On person even let one climb up on his arm…ahh I could not do that! It was neat though.
Both mine and Kenny’s favorite part was when we were able to go up on a little private beach and just let it all soak in. We both looked at one another and said “This is a memory we and only we will have together forever”. Sorry for the sappy part, but this vacation was to celebrate life after a long, but great 2015. The image of us walking into the water back to the boat just sums up the trip for me and you can see it in my face. We are truly blessed to have this vacation together, and I am glad to share it with you all on the blog because I think it is so important to get away and relax. It refreshes and inspires us in so many ways we never thought could.
Until next time Cabo…
